This specialized tool is designed to perform real-time tracking and create sales invoices according to the company's chosen operational method. Selective invoicing opens all customers invoiced or not according to the selection criteria. For an existing invoice, you can modify a specific status of an existing invoice and follow its progress. Among the possible statuses there is the packaging or preparation of the invoice items for sending or picking, the shipment of the invoice to the customer, the reception by the customer of the invoice items. The color of the lines (see Legend at the top right) indicate the status of the invoice.
For an existing document
- The hyperlink of the invoice number allows you to open the invoice for modification. When the invoice is saved, the system returns to this tracking.
- The magnifying glass allows you to view the document.
- The customer code hyperlink allows you to open the customer's file in a new tab without a menu and navigation key. This file can only be updated and saved. By closing this tab, we return to the invoice tracking.
For a customer without an invoice
- The button allows you to create a new invoice for this customer. The creation of new invoices by selective invoicing is subject to the criteria specified in the special options in the administrative settings.
- The customer code hyperlink allows you to open the customer's file in a new tab without a menu and navigation key. This file can only be updated and saved. By closing this tab, we return to the invoice tracking.

The criteria for selective billing can be found in the Special Options section in - Configurations - Administrative Settings.
At the bottom of the page, the selective billing section allows the following options:
- Allow orders if enabled, places a button in the orders column. If an order exists for the customer, it will still be displayed and accessible.
- Allow invoicing if enabled, places a button in the invoice column. If an invoice exists for the customer, it will still be displayed and accessible.
Loading on new invoice: this option allows you to fill the items of a new invoice from a specified source:
- By default, the No Product option is selected.

The Full Inventory option, loads the new invoice with all available items (see inventory sheet) from the inventory.

The Negotiated Item option, loads the items specified in the customer's sheet.

The Pro-Format option allows you to specify a document number (typically a quote) and loads the items contained in this document.

Counter Billing: allows the system to choose the counter billing mode instead of regular billing.
