Data Import-Export

IMPORTING DATA:

It is possible for ADMINO users (freeware) who have a company created on their workstation to send a copy of this data to a company in their ADMINO+ account.



STEP 1 You must download the utility ADEXPORT.EXE by clicking this link and save it in your C:\ADMINO directory (or any other location where your ADMINO software would be installed).

STEP 2a Start the downloaded program with Windows Explorer.
STEP 2b Select the company directory to copy. (look in your company management if you are not sure).
*HINT* If you prepare a screen logo (GIF) and a print logo (BMP) and place them in the company directory on your workstation, they will be downloaded and placed in your ADMINO+ image bank.
Once the directory is chosen, you will see the OK confirmation of the data. Click the CREATE FILE button and confirm to start the process.
STEP 2c Depending on the size of your data, copying and transformation may take some time. Once the work is done, you will see the confirmation at the top and the indication where the file required for the next step is located (typically in C:\ADMINO\EXPORT).

STEP 3a Log in to your ADMINO+ account and go to your administrative options. Select Import-Export again and indicate the company in which you want to insert the data. If it is a new company, you will have to create it in the company management (option above import-export).
WARNING Remember that this data import REPLACES THE EXISTING DATA of the chosen company! If you have modified the account charter or added customers in this ADMINO+ company, these changes will be lost.
Click the Upload File button to open the upload window.



STEP 3b Select the LOADMEX.CAB file from your workstation and click the upload button to activate the import process. Once finished you will have the confirmation message. From this moment you can return to the home page and select the company in question to review your data.
Afterwards you can return to the company management and upload or select the image files to use as logos.


EXPORTING ASCII ACCOUNTING DATA:

It is possible (and practical) for users or their accountant (with username and password of course!) to produce a series of files containing the accounting information of a company. These files can be imported into accounting verification software such as CASEWARE in order to produce specific financial statements, analyses and the corporate tax report.

Simply select a company at the top of the page and click the Produce files button to activate the creation. Once the files are created, you can download them to your workstation (right-click and choose save target).

3 files are produced. The first one that starts with EX0_ ??contains the specifications of the company and the other two files. (you can see it by clicking on the link). The other two are respectively EX1_ ??(general ledger with balances of the 25 periods) and EX2_ ??(general transaction journal).
