By clicking on a user name (or adding a user)
you see the users window appear.
Normally the first 3 fields are the only ones to configure: the user name, the password (which is left blank or known like 123 for a new user) and the profile for this user. It is not recommended
to not put a password for a user (security reasons)
The fields whose titles are
in red are normally controlled by the profile but it is
possible to override this directive for exceptions. The security
identification code must not be used without having the appropriate
equipment. Otherwise the user will never be able to connect. (example: RFID card reader)
Username: the name that the user must use at the portal.
Password: user password, maximum 8 characters
and case sensitive.
User profile: this user's profile.
Initial module launch: This option is identical to
the profile one but signals an exception. This allows you to choose
the page that will be launched as soon as a user of this profile accesses a company.
By default the main menu is launched for all users.
No password change: Prevents the user from changing
or assigning a different password. (useful for DEMO or GUEST users in a system)
Last access: date and time of this user's last access
Password expiration: forced expiration date for this user's
password.
Options linked to the seller code: This option allows a
direct link between the user and the company's seller file.
A user linked to a seller will see appointments, messages
etc. assigned to this seller and will allow the point of sale
and billing to assign the seller automatically.
The email and cell phone number are only used if the two-factor authentication system is enabled on the server. These options are enabled by a WEBMINO technician.
Work in Progress (WEBMINO only) At the bottom of this page you will also see the list of work in progress or work capsules that contain the specific information of a function.
Ex: If you start an invoice, the invoice information is saved in a work capsule. This is what allows you to automatically retrieve the content of the invoice on another workstation or in another session for this user.
In some cases, you may want to delete the work capsule (error or other reason) which forces WEBMINO to start a new complete job.
