When accessing the printers page, you can see the list and status of each configured printer. A green OK checkmark means that the printer is available and active on the server.
You can choose an existing printer or create a new printer with the blue "NEW FOLDER" button.
To exit this page and return to the administrative options (or the home page for ADMINO+), click on the appropriate button. |

To add a printer to the WEBMINO server, the driver must be installed and configured by the technician to be available.
If you do not see the printer of your choice in the drop-down list, you will have to contact the technician to install and configure the printer on the server.
The name of the printer is independent of the real name on the server. You can therefore put a name that has more meaning like ROBERT'S OFFICE instead of HP4000N especially if you have several printers of the same model.
For special receipt or BARCODE printers, there is a TPR or terminal printing method. This method does not print directly, but sends the print jobs to a file attached to the company.
In the "PURE WEB" application, it is not possible for a browser to directly access the hardware without going through a client or extension linked to the machine by the operating system for security reasons.
Using a small client (program installed in Windows) on your workstation, you can retrieve the jobs and start printing. (see TERMINAL PRINTING in the help index for details and the client program) |
