A project is an optional division of revenues and expenses from operations to the general ledger in order to obtain a result on the income and expense statement for a portion of the company's activities that affects said project.
Since November 2022, projects have an operational easement in sales to allow the development of a multi-cash drawer system (like in a grocery store) if necessary.
Project sheets simply contain a number 1 to 99999 and a project name to identify the portion of the activities. When creating a new project the next number will be presented
The project can be specified in all modules that produce income or expenses.The time stamp can also be activated in project capture mode.
It is possible to mark a project INACTIVE. This becomes unselectable in the different modules except the reports module for historical reasons.
A project marked INACTIVE will be displayed in the selection with a red bar.

AUTOMATIC PROJECT ASSIGNMENT (NOV 2022)
A revision of the project system in sales now allows you to attach a specific project to a salesperson (see help representatives) which will automatically select the project when a salesperson makes an invoice.
Previously, you had to select the project manually in the invoice. It is still possible to change the project manually, however.

To make this modification interesting, the cash drawer allows the selection of a project. This could be used to set up a multi-cash drawer system if necessary.

Closing sales also allows the selection of a project.
