Transactions and entries in the G/L
The management of entries or transactions allows you to create, copy, modify or cancel the events of the general journal that make up the balances of the general ledger. Each accounting event generated by the ADMINO+ modules creates a transaction. A transaction has an event date that positions it in a period of the general ledger. Therefore, the permitted dates are restricted to the current financial year plus the twelve additional months.
A transaction can be created completely manually, by copying an existing transaction or by copying a transaction by reversal (to reverse a copy of a transaction).
It is possible to create a check directly from a transaction. Simply place the cash account on which the check will be drawn in the first line of the transaction. It is also necessary to assign a credit amount to it.
At this point the button will be available. By clicking this button you can create the check by selecting a customer or supplier or by manually filling in the boxes.
By saving the check, the check button will be updated with the check information. This option is useful for creating petty cash checks.

If the transaction concerns an adjustment to sales taxes or payroll rebates and you are using the Sales Tax Processing or Payroll Rebate Processing module, it is possible to report this transaction as a rebate transaction by checking the box at right of the note.
This indication forces the Sales Tax Processing or Salary Discounts module evaluator to omit the calculation of this transaction in its evaluation.
During a transaction with multiple entry legs, a tool can allow you to easily allocate the missing amount to balance the entry. The button allows this function for a line without an amount.

The entry management monitors the use of certain accounts. Auxiliary accounts, such as accounts receivable and payable, can be used in a transaction but their use carries a warning. The use of these accounts creates an imbalance with the auxiliaries. The purpose of the warning is simply to keep you informed of this fact.

The Load button allows you to resume an existing transaction to modify its content. All modifications are saved. When an existing transaction is loaded, the original section is displayed, it contains the creation date and the creation source.

If the transaction has been modified following its creation, the changes are visible by clicking the Modification history link.
