Assembly

This module allows you to quickly assemble certain components (removal of quantities from other inventory records) into a finished product (product to be assembled). This is a mini-production module or a rapid transformation of x items into 1 item.



1) You must choose the product to assemble or reach this module through a function such as invoicing, tracking of required products or tracking of customer orders.

If you have reached this module through another function of the software, a RETURN TO PREVIOUS PAGE button will be visible to the right of the NEW button.

*** IF THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS AN ASSEMBLY RECIPE THEN IT WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY LOADED.

2) Indicate the quantity to assemble. (If assembly protection is enabled then you will not be able to assemble more quantities than there are components and the button will remain gray)

3) Choose the additional components and their quantity (other inventory sheets) if applicable.

4) Optionally you can enter an added value that will be recorded in the G/L (category inventory account) and in the cost of the assembled product.

You can either:

- PERFORM ASSEMBLY which will make the transaction and the immediate adjustment.
or
- PRINT GUIDE to obtain a production sheet that will be reprocessed later. (the system does not record the production sheets so you will have to redo the entries)

*** TO CREATE AN ASSEMBLY: - To adjust the recipe, you must go to the product sheet.
ATTENTION an assembly (OPERATIONAL BEHAVIOR in the ADMINISTRATIVE PARAMETERS) is a regular product with a recipe and not a SET
-Add a set definition (recipe) and save.
