Payroll cancellation is used to destroy a payroll. There is no way to modify or correct an inaccurate payroll. You must cancel this payroll and redo it. This tool is designed for this task. To cancel a payroll you must choose the employee, once the employee is chosen, the system indicates in a table the payrolls that can be canceled. By clicking the hyperlink of the transaction number, the payroll summary appears in a window, by clicking the cancellation button a confirmation will ask you if you really want to cancel this payroll.
By confirming the cancellation, the payroll is destroyed as well as the transaction in the General Ledger. You are free to redo a new payroll if required.
